Cole Berschback, RYT 200, Kokoro Yoga Instructor

Greetings!  My name is Nicole Berschback (call me Cole, if you like). I’m overjoyed to be sharing Kokoro Yoga with this wonderful community at Prajna!  I’ve come to yoga after many years of tip-toeing in and out of it, feeling unsure that my body (and its overall lack of flexibility) was meant to practice yoga.  However, several years ago, I was introduced to Kokoro by my brother and immediately fell in love with the practice.  Kokoro integrates ancient practices of yoga, tai chi, martial arts, breath, meditation, and visualization along with the modern practice of functional fitness.  Kokoro translated means “merging of heart and mind”.  I can’t wait to share this practice with you!

Outside of the yoga studio, I’m a mom to three little loves and the wife of my favorite guy ever.  My background is in nutrition and exercise science.  As a Registered Dietitian, I worked is hospitals helping the acutely ill. However, a side-step into working with a Cystic Fibrosis clinic quickly drew me back to my interest in promoting overall wellness.  And so yoga has become a perfect fit.  In my spare time, I run a family wellness website, Villeau, with my younger brother.

I’m so thankful to Sheri for the space to share Kokoro, her guidance, support, and helping reshape my body after years of just grinding through.
