What is Pilates?

 Pilates is an amazing form of mind-body movement that has mat and equipment based exercises originally created by Joe Pilates. The possibilities of this method are endless offering a variety for all ages and fitness levels. PRAJNA teachers are skilled at offering workouts based on individual needs whether in a private session or group class. 

Pilates is For Men, Too

Often Pilates (and Yoga) are considered women’s exercises. Don’t be fooled, we train some of the toughest men and make them sweat with the smallest of movements. This mindful practice will strengthen the entire body as a whole. The next part is it helps us discover our weakest links so we don’t just “muscle through” the work.
