All private sessions must be scheduled in advance by contacting Sheri. Sessions can include yoga, pilates, bellydancing, or a combination. Sessions are 55 minutes.

Super Stretch

The Adventures of Super Stretch (Family Yoga)

What is more fun than a class that the whole family can be involved in? Bring your entire family to yoga and practice together! This class presents an opportunity to cultivate emotional and physical bonding within your family and the community. Family Yoga includes postures for the whole family, including age- and intensity level-appropriate variations to accommodate all of the participants in the class and make sure that everyone has fun. Bring anyone you love! An adult must accompany children. All ages are welcome but note that children under 3 might need extra assistance from you in directions and staying “with the group.”

Where Did My Pelvic Floor and Deep Core Go?

Some areas of health seem easy to talk about, others like our pelvic floor muscles may be viewed as a topic unmentionable. Do you feel like you don’t have core muscles anymore. Or maybe you workout often but still have pain or can’t do exercises you should be strong enough to do. Are there “consequences” unmentionable when you laugh, jump, sneeze, lift your legs in the air, etc?

The pelvic floor and deep core muscles are very important to health, and many people experience problems related to this area.  So where is the pelvic floor? What do pelvic floor muscles do? How do you protect and train them? Where are the deep core muscles? These questions and more will be explored in this class.

This class is appropriate for any fitness level. From a beginner to an athlete. All ages. (Note to mothers: if you have daughters in sports, gymnastics, dance, etc. they will benefit too.) Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Wear comfortable clothes without a belt. There will be chairs available for those not comfortable sitting on the floor.

Bellydancing: Just for the Fun of It

Love dancing but not too sure you want anyone watching you? Have you always wanted to try bellydancing? This light-hearted session is for any age and fitness level. Even if you are in a chair you can still move your hips and arms and reconnect with the beauty all women have. (For women only.)

Yoga Inversions

It’s time to flip your world upside down and check things out from a different perspective. Scared to go upside-down? Love to go upside-down as long as there is a wall by you? No matter where you are on your inversion yoga journey, you will have fun and learn some new tips in this session. (You must be able to do Downward Facing Dog pose to be comfortable in this class.)

Freeing Your Tight Shoulders?

Do you know if you have tight shoulders? Do you want to get rid of the tightness in your shoulders? We will explore the 6 ranges of motion in the shoulders and see how balanced we are and where we all need work.

Sharing the Benefits of Thai Yoga
